Confirm profile eligibility and ownership
Confirm the actual business model, profile ownership, and the access needed for the agreed review.
Turn a manual website and Business Profile review into an evidence-backed action list. Record what you checked, what needs work, and who will implement it.

This workbook supports a manual review. It does not crawl a website, inspect a private Business Profile, or generate an SEO score. Start with one business and the services it actually provides.
Select the business type and record the website and review date.
Set a status for each item, then add a public source, finding, and next action.
Download the CSV and agree priorities, owners, and acceptance checks with the business.
Review context: electrical contractor
Emergency calls, panel upgrades, and EV charger assessments. Use contractor-approved services, coverage, qualifications, and project descriptions.

Changing the business type updates this guidance and keeps your review entries.

Foundation
Confirm the actual business model, profile ownership, and the access needed for the agreed review.
Foundation
Review the business name, categories, hours, contact details, and linked website. Note the source of each correction.
Important
Compare published service coverage and location statements with where the team actually works.
Important
Check how genuine customers can leave feedback and how the business responds. Record observed gaps, not a guessed review target.
Important
List work actually offered. Separate customer tasks that need distinct explanations; combine close wording variants.
Important
Check whether the page explains coverage, assessment or consultation, and what happens after contact.
Important
Identify accurate project descriptions, approved photographs, and credentials that support the service being offered.
Important
Compare pages answering the same customer task. Record what each contributes before recommending consolidation.
Foundation
Record status codes, indexing directives, canonical URLs, and available Search Console inspection evidence.
Important
Follow crawlable links from the main service overview to the relevant page and its next step.
Important
Check legibility, navigation, horizontal overflow, phone links, and form controls at an actual phone width.
Foundation
Check validation, delivery configuration, success and error feedback, and who receives the inquiry. Agree any test submission first.
Measurement
Agree service requested, coverage, job fit, and how duplicate inquiries will be handled.
Measurement
Distinguish phone clicks, answered calls, appointments, and completed work using records the team can supply.
Measurement
Note date range, market, device, page and query filters, brand treatment, and tracking changes where relevant.
Measurement
Give each agreed improvement an owner and an observable completion check. Separate implementation completion from later performance.
Download the local SEO audit template (CSV) to work in your spreadsheet app. It includes the same checks, review guidance, and source references.
Resolve confirmed access and inquiry-delivery barriers first. Then improve the service explanations and contact routes that matter to the business. Measurement tasks establish what can be assessed later; completing a checklist does not establish a ranking or revenue result.
For example, a page can describe an EV charger installation service clearly but still send an out-of-area inquiry to the wrong team. The useful finding records both the affected page and the contact handoff, followed by an owner and an observable completion check.
Keep the market, date range, page and query filters, and lead definitions consistent. Distinguish search visibility, phone-link clicks, qualified inquiries, appointments, and completed work. A change in one stage does not establish the outcome at another.
